Industrial Operations Apprentice Essential Functions/Duties

  • Assist with the collection and filing of IO files, including record retention, and performance documents.
  • Support for 5S actions in the assembly lines
  • Support in Continuous Improvement in the assembly lines.
  • Optimize Production Reports.
  • Support Supervisors in the ILOU Training Documents.
  • Support at Grand Plant Opening.
  • Assist with KPI daily reporting needs.
  • Assist with KPI weekly reporting needs.
  • Assist with KPI monthly reporting needs.
  • Compile data to create bar graphs IO KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and organize the KPI Shopfloor area.
  • Assist with reviewing and modifying IO practices to ensure compliance with IATF audit requirements.
  • Creating Safety Documents and responsible for correct documentation.
  • Creating Quality Alert Documents and responsible for correct documentation
  • Can stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for safety-related matters requiring immediate repair.
  • Perform all duties in a safe & environmental manner.
  • Participate in creating a safe-oriented work environment.
  • Use PPE as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Sophmore level)
  • Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Excellent Attention to Detail
  • Reliability
