Basically, taking former or legacy system customers that are currently running in a old version of the HRP Payroll platform and migrating customers into the new platform they are offering customers.
Technical migration.
Understand overall implications of technicalities - what is a database backup -What are the things needed for a data validation process.
What are the type of impacts on the customer for customizations
What are the differences between customizations and core features - important to manage.
Domain on how to foresee what is the main workflow.
Domain experience on the HR Payroll areas
Answer questions from the customers around the payroll dates, W2 executions for example.
Domain experience preferred.
Has been dealing with fixing time projects, including different faces, planning, execution, validation, delivery to production.
Communication knowledge is important - a candidate who is very well versed with communication - able to formalize the agreements and be able to communicate to the overall stakeholders - internal and external to the project.
Initiative to be flexible and learn the migration process - which is a little bit different than from most project managers may be used to but not difficult to learn and understand.
Needs to be able to understand migration projects.
Will handle customer facing meetings with internal stakeholders.
Keep very well documentation of project milestones.
Communicate with the customers on a weekly basis.
Collaborate with internal team members.
