Job Title: ITSM Service/Process Specialist

Employment Type: Contract, possible extension/conversion

Location: Remote - CST

Salary Range: $30-$40/hr. (W2)


Akkodis is seeking an ITSM Service/Process Specialist for a Contract (possible extension/conversion) position, based in Oklahoma, but you can work REMOTELY. The desired candidate will have 2+ years of service/process/ITSM experience. The ITSM Service/Process Specialist is responsible for defining, documenting, monitoring, and analyzing IT processes and services within Information Technology. They will work to gather and design IT services and products offered to our internal business partners and streamline the processes underlying our service delivery architecture. You will be required to analyze and prepare business requirements and process flows, perform gap analysis, gain consensus, and make recommendations on new services or service improvements. The position must be able to demonstrate their skill in or desire to learn ITIL/ ITSM best practices. This is an excellent opportunity to support a one-of-a-kind environment! You will be able to wear multiple hats to help scale an immature ITSM environment for a large, diverse organization!!


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, gather & document requirements, build process flows, and measure & monitor service offerings from IT to internal business partners.
  • Measure and aid in deployment of new processes, services, or practices.
  • Manage projects to implement or improve services or processes throughout IT.
  • Project manage a diverse scope of ITSM related projects from end to end.
  • Manage relationships with key partners in the Enterprise Service Management ecology.
  • Collect and document business requirements for initiatives and process improvement/automation efforts.
  • Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases.
  • Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels.
  • Identify issues, risks, and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership at all levels.


Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a business process/ITSM role.
  • Must be able to function in an immature ITSM environment and wear multiple hats.
  • “Out of the box”, solution-based, and data-driven thinking are a MUST.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • ITIL V4 knowledge, certifications, or experience preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge, certifications, or experience preferred.
  • Knowledge, certifications, or experience working in or implementing Agile principles preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge in IT Operations and IT Strategy.
  • Understanding of IT services, products, and supporting architecture.
  • Process mapping and design.
  • Understanding of KPIs and OKRs.
  • Strong communication (written and oral).
  • Go-Getter attitude that will push to get the job done and drive projects.
  • Self-driven, with limited oversight required.
  • Attentive to detail with focus on accurate and timely results.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.
