Job Summary:

  • Develops individual training program goals, overall program objectives and module objectives.
  • Works with a variety of subject matter experts to design and build learning assets.
  • Builds storyboards and uses digital and e-Learning applications in a sophisticated manner to design interactive e-Learning products.
  • Designs evaluation strategies to validate that learning outcomes are achieved; assists in developing criterion-referenced tests.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, in addition to 7 plus years of training design experience, to include leading training program design efforts.
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience includes working with complex content and designing training for multiple delivery modalities (traditional classroom, online classroom, and self-paced e-Learning modules and performance support tools).
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates excellent project management skills.
  • Has broad knowledge of instructional technologies, is thoroughly proficient in the advanced use of e-Learning tools and learning technologies.


Tools required: In-depth experience in Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Illustrator.


Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of instructional design theory to design course content, working with project leads, subject matter experts, and working team
  • Creates new and refine existing learning programs incorporating future learning practices while working in an agile environment
  • Applies knowledge of adult learning theory to identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, course content, audience location, point within the learning process, etc.
  • Designing is created for traditional classroom, online classroom, self-paced e-Learning modules or a blend of approaches.
  • Develops digital programs and applications considered complex in nature.
  • Reviews program evaluations, learning metrics, and participant and manager feedback on training effectiveness to make recommendations for program improvement.
  • Designs evaluation strategies and tools to measure program effectiveness, and to determine whether desired learning and performance outcomes are achieved.
