Robert Half is seeking a talented and motivated Instructional Designer to join our client's team on an ongoing contract basis. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging, high-quality learning content for a variety of delivery methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop instructional material for training courses that support company technical products.
  • Apply instructional design theories and practice and assist in the development of e-Learning modules and other educational materials.
  • Develop instructionally sound content from information provided by subject matter experts.
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an instructional designer, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and LMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
