Job Opportunity: Commercial P&C Producer

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Property & Casualty Producer to join our expanding Select team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, over three years of experience, and an active Property & Casualty Insurance license.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Achieve objectives set in the annual producer sales plan.
2. Prospect for new business from target groups.
3. Contact prospects to provide quotes and schedule sales appointments.
4. Consult with prospects to determine insurance needs by reviewing current policies, and other relevant information.
5. Collect detailed risk and underwriting information, including survey data and loss history.
6. Develop and deliver formal insurance proposals detailing coverage, limits, deductibles, and other relevant information.
7. Introduce clients to the account manager and ensure service calls are directed to them.
8. Stay informed of claims or service issues and assist in their resolution as needed.
9. Review expiration lists with the account manager to determine appropriate actions and collect necessary information.
10. Maintain production reports and attend all required sales meetings.
11. Promote the agency and the insurance industry within the community.
12. Stay updated on industry developments through trade press and insurance carrier training meetings.
13. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by agency management.
14. Develop accounts, document in the agency management system, issue policies, obtain all signed documents, and forward them to the account manager.
15. Create prospects in the agency management system and manage related activities.
