Supplement development and build activities such as Development / Integration (DevInt) deck loading.
Engineering Problem Report Remediation Desk (ERD) support.
Support the development of network infrastructure of other subsystem features.
Support Lab environments for current and future generations of CANES Networks for the Navy DoD.
Provide expert-level knowledge of CANES systems engineering and information technology.
Assist in the development of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) while developing solutions across software and hardware platforms and implementing enhancements.
Proactively identify and build problems and identify/document workarounds and fixes.
Develop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) secret-level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to the hire date. (TS/SCI preferred)
A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science is required. Other Bachelor's degrees or equivalent education/training may be substituted for four (4) additional years of experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency (for a total of ten (10) years).
Strong technical foundation in at least one of the following areas:
ESXi/VSAN/datastore configurations and best practices.
Six (6) years experience (Mid) or 10 years experience (Senior) supporting the engineering of DoD Afloat Network systems (CANES, ADNS, ISNS, CENTRIXS, SCI Networks, SUBLAN, and/or COMPOSE).
The ability to work in a dynamic, high-paced, team environment.
We’d Be Impressed If You Had
CANES Installation and troubleshooting experience.
Familiarity with Ansible.
