I am partnered with an exciting Design & Manufacturing Innovator in the Natural Gas & Industrial field, searching for a talented Design Engineer to join their new product development team. My client offer a varied product portfolio to innovate the way in which we product energy.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for new product design, project management, research and development, ongoing product improvements, and drawing creation. This role suits creative, self-motivated individuals eager to contribute individually and as team players.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development and modifications, including creating procedures, specifications, and packaging instructions.
• Conduct FEAs, CFDs, and other analyses to validate product success.
• Design jigs and fixtures for testing; facilitate in-house and field testing with comprehensive data analysis.
• Meet project deadlines and track progress.
• Maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely project completion.
• Create and maintain drawings, bills of materials, and analysis reports.
• Select efficient design concepts and technologies for new and improved products.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes (DFSS, Six Sigma, Lean/Kaizen).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or similar disciplines.
• FEA and CFD knowledge or experience
• Familiarity with machining, assembly practices, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Solidworks or similar design tools.
• Experience working on mechanical and electromechanical products with circuit boards, sensors, and controls design highly desirable
• Preferred knowledge in mechanical, fluids, or petroleum engineering principles.
• International project experience is a plus.
