Job Description

In this hands-on role, the technician will be the guardian of customers' most prized assets - massive, ultra-precise CNC machine tools like lathes, milling machines, and grinders. From performing meticulous inspections and alignments to diagnosing complex mechanical faults and restoring optimal performance, this individual will ensure these engineering marvels operate with surgical accuracy.

The role involves traveling to customer sites across the USA and Canada, collaborating with other passionate technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate state-of-the-art machinery. With deep mechanical know-how, the technician will dive into the inner workings of these intricate systems, replacing worn components, fine-tuning alignments, and leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of perfection.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, the candidate must be a true master of their craft. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and proven experience as a Machine Tool Technician or in a similar hands-on mechanical role. The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics should be second nature, and problem-solving skills should be as finely honed as the machinery being worked on.
