Network Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce's client is seeking a Network Engineer to support its Remote Administration firms in El Segundo, CA. The Remote Administration program is a service offered to the independent businesses leveraging their broker dealer and offers full-service managed IT. This role will own the managed network infrastructure and lead design, configuration, implementation, and escalated troubleshooting. Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Azure backend infrastructure supporting isolated customer networks
• Manage Palo Alto VM-100 appliance hosted in Azure including updates, troubleshooting, ongoing site-to-site VPN connectivity, Global Protect, and overall Panorama configurations ongoing
• Provide ongoing ownership of the Meraki MX architecture and configurations
• Deploy bulk configuration changes to all customer Meraki MX firewalls using the Meraki API
• Tier 3 network escalations - traffic flows, firewall blocks, traffic flows, packet captures, network protocols and routes; This includes working with non-technical onsite contacts if we need any -hands-on- assistance remotely
• Document changes to the systems using change management best practices
• Maintain a knowledgebase for system and processes owned by the role
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of Network Engineering experience (expert)
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Infrastructure (intermediate)
• 2+ years of experience with Python (intermediate)
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, to appropriately prioritize tasks and keep abreast of the latest technology

• Experience with a Managed Service Provider or multi-organization environment
• Strong customer service, verbal, and communication skills
• Self-driven, able to lead projects from design through implementation
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
