Presales Solutions Engineer (Full-time/Permanent role with incentives, benefits!)
Customer Facing Role - Must be willing to travel/meet with clients within the tristate area, attend conferences as needed.
Preferred Skills: Either Cisco/Aruba/Juniper.
Location: New York Metro
Note: This is NOT a hunter/sales role more of a technical advisor, guiding both clients and the sales team on networking strategies/ product integrations, and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise in a presales engineering capacity, preferably in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) setting or an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) context.
• Strong technical background with in-depth knowledge of Dell, HPE, and Cisco products and solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about how technology can solve business challenges.
• Certification in relevant Dell, HPE, and Cisco technologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend events.
Role Summary: As a Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales process from the technical side, working closely with our sales team to understand customer requirements, and designing and presenting solutions that meet these needs. Your expertise in Dell, HPE, and Cisco products and solutions will be instrumental in proposing and demonstrating how our technology offerings can solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads and identify customer needs and technical requirements.
• Design and propose solutions that leverage Dell, HPE and Cisco technologies to address customer needs, enhance their business processes, and drive efficiency.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our technology solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the entire sales cycle, ensuring a seamless transition from presales to implementation.
• Stay abreast of the latest Dell, HPE, and Cisco technologies and industry trends, and leverage this knowledge to serve as a trusted advisor to both the sales team and our customers.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and can be implemented within the required timelines and budgets.
• Participate in technical training, workshops, and industry events to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Pursue and secure the relevant industry certifications that are necessary for the role, enhancing your expertise in the field.
