The Producer will report into the Senior Producer and is responsible for the planning and execution of all trunkshow shoots (both locally and abroad) and all boutique shoots (in Paris, Milan, or London), across apparel, non-apparel, home, and fine jewelry categories. Shoot production will be approximately 80% e-commerce/PDP and 20% editorial/creative.

This is a full-time, hybrid position, which is required to be on-site (Industry City Brooklyn) 1 day per week on Wednesdays, and on an as needed basis (must be on-site at studio for any NYC shoots).

Primary Responsibilities, Include

  • Schedule and staff shoots in the most efficient and cost effective way possible.
  • Work closely with Photo, Styling, and Production Teams to ensure shoots are staffed appropriately and freelance talent and crew is trained and supplied with the most updated image requirements, processes, and guidelines.
  • Work closely with Buying, Retouching, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure shoots are executed within appropriate timelines and that all asset needs are met.
  • Recruit and book talent and crew for shoots in New York, Paris, Milan, and London
  • Negotiate rates and manage schedules with talent and crew, studios, equipment houses, and courier services in Europe.
  • Manage pre-production of photo shoots: Maintaining production schedules, distributing call sheets, providing updates on talent and crew options, providing talent and crew confirmations/releases by established deadlines.
  • Manage on-set production: Communicating with talent and crew on each set, overseeing sample check-in/product management, time management, maintaining organization, shot list management, checking imagery, sharing post-shoot notes with relevant stakeholders, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Oversee sample coordination: Unpacking/checking in products and collections, ensuring lended samples are returned to vendors by agreed-upon deadlines, enlisting/overseeing freelance PA support when needed. Always ensuring an outstanding level of care for high-value samples.
  • Liase with local production support in Europe, enlist/train additional production support as needed.
  • Liase with model agents and book appropriate models for e-commerce shoots.
  • Ensure that all products are accurately and consistently shot across cities.
  • Communicate with a wide range of luxury apparel, non-apparel, home, and fine jewelry vendors to coordinate samples and shoot logistics.
  • Work closely with Styling Director to ensure on-model e-commerce shoots are planned appropriately and styling guides are prepared as needed.
  • Create pre-product imports and shotlists for shoots, utilizing Creative Force imagery platform.
  • Create estimates and track actual costs for each shoot in budget trackers, providing accurate accruals at month end.
  • Process invoices for independent contractors and vendors.
  • Work closely with Accounts to ensure vendor/banking records and payments are up to date for all independent contractors and vendors.
  • Work closely with local production, styling, and photo teams to ensure each city is appropriately stocked with necessary shoot supplies, equipment lists, and inventory is updated regularly.
  • Maintain updated Independent Contractor Agreements for talent and crew, and work with Legal to create new or updated agreements as needed.
  • Must be available for overnight and weekend shoots, and available to work off-hours and weekend hours during fashion weeks.

Qualifications/Ideal Experience

  • 5+ years of Production experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Detail and process oriented.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent budgetary acumen.
  • Strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to improve processes and identify opportunity for efficiencies.
  • Agile and adaptable, able to react quickly and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Collaborative - must work closely with multiple teams and give/receive feedback.
  • Ability to function independently and in a team environment.
  • Resourceful, creative problem solver.
  • Established relationships with or industry knowledge of photographers, stylists, model agents, and production resources preferred.
  • Relationship Management, with particular sensitivity to the nature of relationships within luxury retail preferred.
  • Proficiency in French and/or Italian is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time; Hybrid role; NYC based (Brooklyn office space)

Salary: $60,000 - $81,000 per year + Discretionary Bonus & Equity Eligible
