We are looking for a production intern to join our exciting and expanding video department.
At Footballco, we live at the intersection of soccer and culture and are looking for creative and innovative candidates passionate about the beautiful game from the grassroots to professional levels.
Our U.S. video team is responsible for producing best in class editorial and commercial content for our channels and brand partners. You’ll be joining a team with a start-up mentality, hungry to tell soccer related stories and grow the sport in the U.S.
Successful candidates love soccer and social video. They’re strong communicators who work well on a deadline and thrive when the ball is handed to them for that extra time spot kick. This person knows the importance of pre production and has experience working with clients.
What you’ll be doing:
Responsibilities:
- Helping to create video and static content for GOAL USA + INDIVISA's social channels
- Manage content organisation in company's database
- Edit social video using Adobe Premiere
- Upload content to internal video player
- Work within a small team and on your own to create new storytelling and revenue driving formats including social media shorts, original shows and series, and live streamed content
- Assist with setting up and operating camera equipment.
- Assist with content ideation
- Have the opportunity to film content in the field and go on local remote projects
- Copy proofreading and video content QC.
What you have:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience setting up camera equipment and basic videography
- Interested in creating content for social channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, and Twitch.
- Strong editing knowledge and experience using Adobe Premiere
- Strong knowledge of Google platforms included Docs, Sheets, and Drive
- Takes directions well and is hungry to contribute
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good attitude to help build culture on a new team
- Effective communicator and team player who will collaborate with creatives, designers, account managers and strategists to create compelling work.
- Finally, this job is focused on soccer media, so while knowing the game helps, we hope you have a love for soccer culture on and off the pitch
