Intermediate

  • A Degree in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of two (2) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
  • A Diploma in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of three (3) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
  • A Certificate in Consulting Category related disciplines and a minimum of four (4) years of related Consulting Category experience; or
  • An absolute minimum of six (6) years of directly related Consulting Category experience.
    • Services Required:
Project Coordinator Duties Include The Following

  • Budget Management: invoicing of multiple streams of work, processing Purchase Orders, reconciliation of timesheets against the budget, updates to the budget forecast and actuals monthly, preparation of steering committee budget analysis.
  • Coordinate Meetings: scheduling weekly project meetings with multiple participants and rooms, taking minutes and identifying action items, preparing agendas and materials in advance of the meetings.
  • Document Management and Status Reporting: updates to PQTO monthly status reports, updates to standard template monthly steering committee meeting PowerPoint slides. Manage project documentation on the project team SharePoint site.
  • Presentations: establish presentations to support the projects (including PQTO requirements), project reporting.
  • Go-live Support: management of the go-live activities list and go-live issues log and updates to daily go-live issue statistics. Create and manage the go-live support schedule. Provide on-site support in the Go-live Command Centre to answer the go-live support phone line.
    • Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
    • Project Coordinator and/or Executive Assistant experience (2-3 years).
    • Experience supporting project managers implementing first or second installations in Canada of new innovative technology will be given first preference.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products required with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Project.
    • Post Secondary Education.
    • Must have Health Care experience

Lions Gate Hospital New Paul Myers Tower Project (2018 – 2025)

The Lions Gate Hospital New Paul Myers Tower Project (New PMT) Is a Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Construction Project That Will Deliver The Addition Of a New 6-storey Acute Care Facility On The Lions Gate Hospital Campus With The Goal Of Replacing Obsolete Facilities And Improving Inpatient Medical, Perioperative And Support Services. The Scope Of The New PMT Includes

  • Replacement of 108 acute medical and surgical inpatient beds on Levels 4 to 6 from the existing Paul Myers South tower.
  • Relocation of the existing perioperative areas located on Level 2 of the Northern Expansion building to include 8 new ORs and a new 39-bay Pre-operative and Post-operative care area including anaesthesia intervention and isolation rooms.
  • Replacement of the Medical Device Reprocessing Department on Level 3 Mechanical and electrical services required to support the facility at the basement, interstitial and penthouse levels.
  • An entry level area that includes a mix of patient care, staff amenities and outpatient care services.
  • Additional support services and public amenities, including a roof-top garden on Level 4.
  • Vehicular arrival, short-term parking and one-way circulation.
  • Renovation of Surgery Reception and 6 Minor Treatment areas on Level 2 in the existing facility.
  • Pedestrian circulation between the new and existing facilitates at Levels 0, 1 and 2.
