SISSCO Material Handling, a leader in Overhead Crane and Hoist Manufacturing, Sales, and Service, is hiring a Project Engineer/Project Manager.

SISSCO Material Handling manufactures a wide range of Overhead Traveling Cranes and Hoists for many industries including the power sector, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, transportation, and energy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organization and Management of projects that consist of SISSCO designed equipment that includes engineering, manufacturing and installation.
• Customers range from End Users to General Contractors
• Communication with customers on submittal and approval of drawings, details for engineering, scheduling of delivery of equipment and installation of equipment.
• Coordination with Engineering department to have project go thru design phase for submittal drawings all the way to producing fabrication and installation drawings.
• Submittals of Environmental and Safety Plans as required by the customer
• Manage purchasing of materials from the B.O.M in order to make sure project is successful and on time.
• Coordination with Production on manufacturing of equipment.
• Coordination with Installation Department on installation of equipment.
• Creation and Submittal of Equipment Manuals
• Communication and Coordination with Accounting department for job close out and invoicing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor Science in Mechanical, Structural or Electrical Engineering
• Education can be substituted by professional experience in Engineering or Application Engineering.
• Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Great time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge in product pricing, cost accounting, and general sales.
• Strong Mechanical and Structural skills.
• Previous project engineering or project management a plus.
• Good communication skills for interaction with other peers or with customers.
