Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage projects from initiation through closure, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Allocate resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, track milestones, and report on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects or software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
