Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Krispy Kreme’s is responsible for maintaining, auditing and facilitating the organization’s recipe information databases, new item and vendor approval processes, regulatory/quality system manuals documentation and communication of compliance materials to internal and external partners.

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Maintain and audit company’s global recipe information databases. Review and approve data for accuracy and compliance.
• Facilitate continuous compliance documentation such as supplier verification and ingredient documentation for all active suppliers and ingredients.
• Assist with the maintenance of internal and external documentation associated with ingredient or product specifications, consumer facing materials or any other regulatory information.
• Function as the departmental coordinator for approvals, new vendor/co-manufacturers/item set-ups and other administrative tasks.
• Maintain certifications and registrations associated with Regulatory & Food Safety including but not limited to; FDA facility registration, Kosher/Halal, GFSI audits.
• Fulfill customer or internal requests for regulatory information including maintenance of product and facility records in customer portals.
• Assist Food Safety/Quality with technical documentation in support of compliance audits, such as GFSI, Kosher, and/or regulatory agencies.
• Partner with regulatory managers to develop, edit and/or maintain Regulatory Systems documentation including global standards, technical data management, and ingredient hazard analysis.
• Maintain records of facilities’ regulatory or third-party inspections such as findings, corrective actions, and other relevant information.
• Extensive coordination with Food Safety/Quality, Innovation, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Marketing. Provide support for other regulatory projects when required.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or related discipline

Comprehensive knowledge and 1-2 years of experience ensuring regulatory compliance for FDA regulated food

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Must have the ability to interact and partner closely with other corporate departments

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

1-2 years of experience using nutritional databases like Genesis or Product Vision
