This position provides complex support and expertise to business units through research, developing, data gathering, and executing risk procedures. Evaluates potential losses while developing high-impact solutions to minimize or eliminate risk. Creates improvements to current processes and procedures, and ensures compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of credit risk models for consumer loan products
Perform data analysis and cleaning tasks to support model development
Monitor model performance and identify potential areas for improvement
Contribute to the generation of reports for CCAR and CECL requirements
Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory guidance
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
2+ year of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role
Proficiency in Python, SAS, R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
Knowledge of Consumer loan products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
If hired in (CA or NC) the base pay for this position is generally between $85,000 and $184,000 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
