Location: Multiple SC Offices - Will report into Greenville, SC office
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a full-time Safety Coordinator to join their expanding team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees across various offices and projects. We welcome entry-level candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a construction setting and completed safety training certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safety inspections on various sites and report findings to the management team.
Facilitate and support the regional Safety Committee.
Collaborate with the Corporate Safety Manager to enhance safety protocols, PPE, and training initiatives.
Administer the internal safety program, including weekly safety briefings, tracking injury-free days, and updating the safety manual.
Oversee the reporting process for all accidents and injuries.
Coordinate and deliver safety training for all employees.
Prepare and distribute necessary safety documentation, including insurance certificates and prequalification materials, to vendors and clients.
Work alongside managers to conduct site safety checks, organize monthly safety meetings with technicians, and manage incident reports.
Ensure accurate and timely safety reporting to corporate safety and Human Resources.
Qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience in a construction environment.
Completed safety training certification.
Strong commitment to fostering a safety-first culture.
Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external.
Ability to handle administrative tasks, travel to various job sites and offices, and work in construction areas.
