Job Description

• Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in developing Job Hazard Analyses and safe work plans
• Identify and control hazardous conditions and unsafe activities, providing recommendations for improvement
• Supervise and implement site-specific safety programs, risk assessments, and emergency procedures
• Conduct and implement site-specific orientation training for staff and subcontractors
• Ensure proper start-up of the project, including posting labor and safety signage
• Travel to various sites and complete safety inspection reports
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal OSHA requirements
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections, ensuring team compliance
• Investigate and document incidents involving property damage, personal injury, and safety violations
• Lead incident analysis with a focus on root causes and lessons learned
• Accompany OSHA compliance officers and insurance inspectors during audits
• Evaluate subcontractor qualifications and training programs, providing recommendations
• Assist in developing and managing the project safety budget
• Evaluate project safety performance and guide corrective actions
• Collaborate with Corporate on company safety policies
• Facilitate specific safety training and attend pre-construction meetings
