About the Role
As the Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the global sourcing and procurement activities for our swimwear product lines. You will collaborate closely with US and China designers and manufacturers to develop new and innovative swimwear designs, ensuring seamless integration from concept to production. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring global fashion trends and market dynamics, making strategic adjustments to our development strategies to maintain our competitive edge. This role will report to the General Manager of the Product Design Department.
Job Duties
Responsible for overseeing global sourcing and procurement planning for swimwear, ensuring product lines are diverse and fashionable.
Collaborate with US and Asia designers and manufacturers to create innovative swimwear designs, ensuring seamless integration from design to production.
Keep abreast of global fashion trends and market dynamics, making timely adjustments to development strategies to maintain product competitiveness.
Establish and maintain procurement channels for swimwear products, seeking new partnerships and fostering long-term cooperation.
Actively participate in local and international trade shows and fashion events to develop company business and enhance brand influence.
Conduct competitor research, analyze market trends, and track sales forecasting to provide valuable insights for company decision-making.
Empower the team to drive product sales and foster brand development.
Skills & Experience
8+ years of buyer experience in the swimwear industry, with a deep understanding of the global market and supply chain.
Demonstrate a passion for swimwear products and a keen market sensitivity, accurately anticipating market trends and consumer preferences.
Exhibit excellent purchasing skills and negotiation abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong supply chain relationships.
Have strong team spirit and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively drive project progress.
Demonstrate innovation and execution abilities, thriving in a competitive market environment and adapting well to work with oversea teams.
Display a willingness to share experiences and knowledge, with the ability to empower and support the development of the team.
Bilingual in Chinese speaking is preferred.
