Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Director or Legal Recruitment to join our team. As a part of Premium Boutique Legal Recruiting Firm, you will successfully lead and manage a team of recruiters within the organization. Direct Counsel brings Legal local market intel to offer exceptional and exemplary workforce solutions to premier law firms and in-house legal departments, both locally and nationally.

Requirements
Recruiting attorneys and legal professionals for positions with law firms and corporate legal departments
In-depth interviewing with attorneys and legal professional candidates to assess qualifications
Networking with attorneys and legal professionals
Extending offers of employment to attorneys and legal professional candidates and negotiating compensation packages
Assisting clients and candidates in making discreet and informed employment decisions
Successfully lead and manage a team of 4 legal recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet the legal staffing needs of the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
Provide guidance, mentorship, and ongoing training to the recruiting team, enhancing their skills in candidate sourcing, screening, and placement
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with law firms, corporate legal departments, and key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions
Qualifications:
Must have strong understanding of the legal industry
Enthusiastic, highly motivated and proactive
Prior client service experience
Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Legal background and the desire to move into a sales/recruiting role
JD strongly preferred
