Role: Senior HR Generalist

As our Senior HR Generalist, you will have a crucial role in the operations of the company. You’ll be responsible for overseeing various HR policies, programs and processes to ensure compliant, efficient workplaces across the Pacific Northwest. We’ll look to you to be our local expert for guidance around Human Resource policy, Federal, State and local laws and regulations and corrective actions. You’ll join a larger HR team to help with cross-collaborative efforts, resources and support. This role can be located anywhere in the Pacific Northwest with a preference for the Portland or Seattle areas.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide counsel and support to managers/supervisors on issues of company/HR policy application, production operation Human Resource needs and provides HR services to team members.
  • Works with operations to resolve employee relations issues. Investigates, counsels and assists in resolving disputes.
  • Conduct ER investigations, analyze organizational health issues, and work in partnership with the CHRO to develop and execute plans to address problem areas.
  • Provide guidance on employment related issues (such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action and progressive discipline) to operations leadership.
  • Facilitate HR processes and operations programs to ensure ethical, fair and consistent approach.
  • Supports the development and administration of programs, policies and processes to facilitate employee and organizational development.
  • Develop proactive communications, employee relations/recognition and appreciation programs.
  • Provide HR support to operations safety programs, initiatives and processes including return to work and coordination of workers compensation programs.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably with experience in onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS systems
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations


Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $110,000/ year
