Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing test cases and test plans, as well as expertise in ETL data testing between applications. The Senior Manual Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data transfer processes, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
Execute manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
Perform ETL data testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from one application to another.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure thorough testing and timely delivery of projects.
Participate in requirement analysis and provide input to improve test coverage and quality.
Conduct root cause analysis for identified issues and work with the development team to resolve them.
Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test scripts, test data, and test results.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.

Proven experience as a Manual Tester with a focus on designing, authoring, and communicating test plans, scenarios, cases, and use cases Strong expertise in ETL data testing and data validation between applications.
Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
