The Plant Manager is accountable for overseeing plant operations and maintenance, establishing policies and procedures, achieving production targets, and fostering community relations. The role also involves cultivating a well-trained and motivated workforce.
Education & Experience
Preferably a Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing related food processing facilities.
Excellent analytical and PC skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Skills in performance management and conflict resolution.
HACCP experience preferred.
Knowledge of regulations and guidelines for meat and poultry operations by federal and state authorities.
