Senior Procurement Specialist

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for new product introductions, ensuring successful product launches from concept to commercialization.

• Location: Plymouth, MN (On-Site)

Day in the Life of a Senior Procurement Specialist:

• Lead sourcing and supply chain for new product development with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Strategic and Tactical procurement for supplier strategies and operationalize activities.
• Negotiate complex agreements and support terms for commercial Supply Agreements.
• Utilize core business systems (SAP) for continuous improvements.
• Drive process optimization initiatives to reduce costs and enhance service levels.

Qualifications of a Senior Procurement Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 years’ experience in a highly regulated environment with knowledge of applicable regulations.
• 5 years’ experience with MRP, DRP, ERP, forecasting, and inventory management within SAP or similar systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and teams.
• Progressive experience in materials management/purchasing.
