Job Summary

The Senior Vice President, Division Lead - Liga Steel, will be responsible for launching and managing Spaxel’s Liga Steel division. This successful candidate will assume leadership responsibility for the entire US operation of Liga Steel across all dimensions of the business including strategic planning, business development, project management, and construction management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and Business Development:
  
  

○ Formulate and execute strategic plans to establish Liga Steel as a leading provider of prefabricated steel framing components and wall assemblies.

○ Lead client acquisition and relationship management efforts to build a robust client base.

○ Oversee sales management, including proposal development and contract negotiations to drive revenue growth.

○ Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to foster business opportunities.

• Project Management:
  
  

○ Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

○ Lead project teams, providing clear direction and ensuring alignment with project goals.

○ Monitor project progress, address issues proactively, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

• Construction Management:
  
  

○ Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and safety protocols.

○ Manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.

○ Coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring they meet project specifications and deadlines.

○ Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization and financial accountability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of senior level experience in the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the division.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Engineering, Architecture etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of light gauge steel framing systems.
• Experience in launching and growing new business divisions within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with the East Coast construction market.
