Create and lead the development of the organization’s overall brand strategy, including defining brand positioning, messaging and value propositions
Identifying and initiating partnerships, collaborations, or sponsorships that can enhance the brand’s visibility and reputation
Managing and overseeing creative, consumer marketing, marketing communications and public relations
Staying on top of the latest marketing research, brand tactics, and industry trends, as well as evaluating when it may be time to try something new
Ensuring that marketing strategies and brand initiatives align with overall goals and vision of the company
Tracking metrics and KPIs to measure success of individual marketing campaigns
Reporting and presenting the results of marketing plans to the ELT and cross-functional teams within the company
Developing crisis communication strategies and protocols to protect and enhance the brand’s reputation in times of crisis or controversy
Keeping a close eye on potential competitors’ branding and marketing strategies
As a Senior Vice President Marketing, You Have:
10+ years of experience within well-branded Consumer organizations
Have an understanding of brand marketing today and a vision for the future of media and branding mix
Ability to work and be successful within a hands-on, roll up your sleeves culture.
Exceptional ability to develop sophisticated marketing plans and to execute programs with excellence.
A proven ability to respond effectively to market direction and consumer needs, and and to effectively incorporate this data into marketing planning and initiatives
Tech Savvy; highly experienced in creating multi-platform initiatives that are message/brand consistent and engaging
A passionate innovator who has created game plans for innovation based on consumer insights and successful campaigns
A strategic thinker who has created success by looking at competitive landscape and positioning brand to meet needs of today’s consumer and the consumer of the future.
