Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. Gaining competence in own area and acquiring a higher level understanding of role, processes and procedures. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 0-2 years of previous software engineering or related experience.

• Improves existing features and subsystems.
• Adds new ancillary features
• Writes correct, maintainable code and tests
• Collaborate on designs
• Helps with ops
• Collaborates and implements features and subsystems
• Expected to need regular guidance in areas that are taught poorly in school or in non-cloud industries, e.g., working in a service team; prioritization of tasks; making conscious trade-offs; appropriate degree and kinds of testing; writing clear technical docs; coding for edge-cases; security, concurrency, maintainability, change; designing for security, availability, performance, scalability, change; operational readiness and excellence

US: Hiring Range: from $52,700 - $141,300 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
