Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for software applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to best practices.
  • Design and implement test scenarios for functional, integration, and performance testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development and test automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
