As the ‘Solution Architect’, you are responsible for the overall technical solution, design & lead implementation of applications configured on Innoveo Skye ® platform. You will work closely with stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, project managers, and technical teams, to ensure that the proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements. Your role will involve creating architectural designs, evaluating risks, and providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.It is a key role Innoveo’s Professional Services in enabling Innoveo’s customers that meet their needs and reduce time to market.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design: Develop architectural solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to Innoveo’s best practices & industry standards. This involves analyzing business needs, defining system components, and outlining integration points.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the solution delivery process. Collaborate with configurators, devops, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business analysts to gather and analyze requirements, understanding both functional and non-functional aspects. Translate the requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with architectural decisions. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks and ensure project success.
Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, architectural reviews, and quality assurance activities to ensure that solutions meet quality standards, performance requirements, and security guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and Innoveo’s new releases/features. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills, improve processes, and optimize solutions for better performance and efficiency.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and consensus on architectural decisions and project goals.
Communication: Be an effective communicator, able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should also be able to facilitate productive discussions, conduct workshops and address design conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements
10+ years of IT experience with at least 2+ years as a Solution Architect
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a track record of designing and delivering enterprise solutions.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural styles.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and knowledge of cloud-based architectures.
Experience in Integration & Middleware technologies with API Design experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while paying attention to detail.
Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Experience in the Insurance Sector is a plus
