Your work at Tegria will focus on supporting the delivery and development of educational content and programs to support employee growth, productivity, and success in the Support Center.


Your primary responsibilities are maintaining existing educational materials and creating new educational materials, including eLearning. You will also facilitate training sessions for Support Center agents.


In this role, you are recognized as highly skilled and proficient in your discipline, conducting complex work and contributing to measurable team and organizational objectives. You work with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent judgement, assisting less experienced team members as needed.

An effective Sr. Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist will help the organization on a whole achieve success through:

Training Delivery

  • Training new and current employees on policies, procedures, systems, workflows, and best practices
  • Increasing employee proficiency through training and effective communication
  • Effectively using established educational materials to facilitate training sessions
  • Facilitating role play sessions
  • Managing the classroom, either physically or virtually, to improve the learning environment
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and handling calls alongside employees as a training exercise
  • Mentoring less experienced trainers on training and facilitation techniques


Curriculum Development

  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing educational materials
  • Improving and updating existing educational materials, including eLearning
  • Developing new educational materials, including eLearning
  • Developing job aids and supporting resources, such as worksheets, templates, databases, and reports
  • Developing content for and working to maintain knowledge management systems and learning management systems
  • Partnering with stakeholders to identify learning needs, scope, audience, timelines, and format to support departmental goals
  • Designing content that is learner-centered and user-friendly based on confirmed learning objectives and stakeholder feedback
  • Advising on options and best modes of delivery for a variety of learning and communication needs
  • Developing and supporting long-term learning plans for internal teams
  • Mentoring less experienced trainers on how to effectively develop training material, including eLearning
  • Reviewing and advising on training material created by less experienced team members


Ongoing Support

  • Developing and implementing tools and methods to measure the effectiveness of training
  • Monitoring trainees' knowledge before and after training to help determine follow-up training required
  • Conducting skill level evaluations and re-evaluations and recommending additional coursework/training that may be necessary
  • Identifying employee performance problems, determining training needs, and implementing solutions


General

  • Operating independently; managing and tracking your own work progression
  • Providing guidance to less experienced members of the team, as needed
  • Contributing to team and organizational objectives
  • Working a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends as needed


What we’re looking for

We expect:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of training and instructional design experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Eye for process and training improvement
  • Experience initiating and managing projects through to completion on a defined timeline
  • Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning content demonstrated to meet needs of diverse learners
  • Experience developing soft skills or system-based training
  • Proficiency in graphic/image editing software (e.g., TechSmith Snagit)
  • Experience creating meaningful content with one or more industry-standard authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond)
  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound analytical skills to perform work with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for making meaningful learning experiences accessible to a diverse audience
  • Experience mentoring and guiding others
  • Able to manage a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and or weekends on occasion
  • Able to work successfully with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent judgement
  • Experience mentoring less experienced team members
  • Previous instructional design experience
  • Prior consulting experience
  • W2 project-based consultants will be expected to provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices to use in satisfying the Project Services on behalf of Tegria.


We’d like to see:

  • Relevant healthcare or healthcare IT experience
  • Learning Mangement System (LMS) experience
  • Experience in healthcare environment
  • Learning Management Certifications

Compensation: $75,000-$97,000

Status: Exempt | Regular full-time

Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Work Location: This position is remote. Must work in a location within the United States.

Travel: Minimal (less than 10%)
