Job Overview The Continuous Improvement Sr Manager will be responsible to implement and deploy TEOA and Lean tools around sites, supporting, coaching local teams, and head trans-functional workshops together with site teams, following and accomplishing within TEOA standards and executing TEOA strategic plan. You will be required to be align with and drive TEOA activities considering all the Value Stream, End to End. Main Tasks Support the deployment of the Operations Strategy. Coordinate with site management and TEOA site team development at site-level Current State VSM (Value Stream Mapping), Future State VSM and TEOA deployment plan based on TEOA Site Assessment, in order to achieve the plant performance objectives (Star levels); Discuss and develop the resources and priorities needed to support the deployment plan; support, plan, drive and follow-up the TEOA deployment plan at all sites. Implement Star Level audits based on TEOA tool implementation. Hold site weekly follow-ups on the improvement projects as planned in the deployment plan. Hold monthly Review meetings with Plant management and Continuous Improvement Management to review the committed deliverables and adjust the TEOA deployment plan if needed. Increase knowledge to all levels of employees by detecting training needs and organize training for problem solving techniques and TEOA improvement tools. Share Successfully Demonstrated Practices (SDP’s) within TE Community. Lead improvement projects, deploy pull system on our site, implement layout for flow, Kanban, shop stock sizing, visual management at shopfloor level. What your background should look like: Extensive professional experience with focus on production, logistics or engineering and financial knowledge. At least 8-10 years' experience in leading continuous improvement activities on regional level (Lean Leader or similar function). Extensive hands-on and practical experience in using value stream mapping / MIFA improvement and implementing TEOA / Lean tools. Leadership on kaizen events with proven results in at least following areas: 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover and TPM. Credibility and experience to work effectively and directly with the senior on-site leadership team and site TEOA leader. Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management Ability to think strategically and execute tactically (i.e. deliver results) Strong project management skills, flow (physical vs economical) detailed understanding. Analytically minded and data-driven. The candidate must also have a holistic overview of complex situations and deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise. COMPENSATION Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $138,800 - $208,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
