Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Program Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, guiding them from initial requests through to program execution. You'll leverage your negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and beneficial contract terms, ensuring client satisfaction throughout.
Financial Oversight: Manage program budgets and forecasts with precision, providing timely updates and ensuring financial goals are met. You'll also monitor market trends to adapt strategies as needed.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Mentor and lead a team of Sourcing Managers and Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. You'll provide expertise and support to ensure project success and team development.
Process Improvement: Implement best practices for sourcing and contracting, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards. You'll drive process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with both clients and suppliers, acting as a trusted advisor and resource. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver seamless program execution.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in project or event management, with a focus on procurement. Proven negotiation skills and a track record of successful client and supplier relationship management.
Skills: Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts effectively. Experience in hospitality or related industries is a plus.
Education: College degree preferred.
Additional: CMP designation or similar certification is advantageous. Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
