Structural Engineer I

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team based in Dallas, TX. This role will assist in the structural design of residential and various other projects. Your expertise will be essential in achieving our design objectives, new product development and improving existing product lines.

In the Structural Engineer role you can expect to:

• Provide technical expertise to ensure projects meet all standards, codes, and specifications.
• Review, analyze, and resolve field and design issues.
• Perform complex engineering computations and prepare detailed plans and reports.
• Make design recommendations and assist in developing contract deliverables.
• Manage projects of varying size and complexity, from planning to coordination and execution.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and keep the Director of Engineering informed of any scope changes.
• Attend site visits during design and construction phases.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Minimum of five years of related experience.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software, CAD, and Revit.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Thorough calculation skills for structural designs and renovations.
• Creative problem-solving approaches.
• Professional interaction with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
