Our client is well-known fasting growing skincare brand that is looking for a new Global Supply Planning Senior Manager to join their team!


JOB DETAILS

Newly created role of Global Supply Planning Senior Manager reports to Procurement & Supply Planning Director and leads global team of supply planners based in Korea and US.


You will influence leadership across the organization to optimize service level and inventory. Coach and develop team of supply planners. Animate cross-division/supply chain priorities. Participate and lead cross functional project teams.Facilitate/lead monthly SIOP meetings with stakeholders such as co-Founders/co-CEOs, Product Development, Sales, Marketing and Finance to review risks and opportunities.


The role is responsible for core deliverables of Service, Cost and Inventory Value. Drive continues improvement projects, ensure strong supplier management and compliance. Monitor and manage global inventories and production levels, plan for materials needed. Track delivery performance and response time, as well as handle capacity planning and various logistics projects.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Planning & Supply Planning Book management: Oversee the supply planning process, including production planning, procurement, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers across saleable and non-saleable categories. Including Phase In/Phase Out management (formula/packaging) across all formats (saleable, promo, holiday).


PO management for FGs/materials: Responsible for monthly Procurement cycle, collaborating regularly with team in Korea. Secure timely and accurate PO placement with CMs/suppliers. Monitor timely & complete components delivery to CMs. Maintain production schedules and throughput. Manage global logistics for components to CMs and FG to 3PL. Alert Senior Management in a timely manner when delivery dates/service are at risk.


Supplier Relationship: Focus on building strong, collaborative supplier relationships. Support Procurement & Supply Planning Director with Quarterly Business Reviews, continues improvement and cost optimization projects. Assist in developing strategy for supplier network optimization to support business growth plan.


Inventory Control: Ensure inventory accuracy reporting across all locations in ERP, execute monthly reconciliation for Stock, POs, TOs. Ensure adherence of procedures with vendors and 3PLs for accurate fiscal periodic reporting.

Item Master Data governance: Item master data creation and maintenance in ERP. Partner with the Product Development team to build F&A Specs and BOMs by SKU. Adherence to activation/termination of SKUs in NetSuite.


Team management: Setting goals: Establishing team objectives & goals. Assigning tasks: Making sure tasks are assigned and completed in a timely and organized manner. Training: Overseeing, training, or advising team members. Providing feedback: Supporting and communicating with team members so they can perform to their best. Implementing procedures: Ensuring good practices and implementing company procedures



JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain (with at least 3+ years of leadership role and team management) within the beauty industry.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of CPG Manufacturing Processes, Logistics, Master Data Governance.
  • Excellent knowledge of MRP modules and experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive CM performance improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Have a strong process orientation with the ability to identify gaps in process/controls and successfully implement needed changes to improve operations.
  • Have the ability to respond well to changes in the operating environment (flexibility and responsiveness).
  • Experience working with start ups/scale ups.
