Our client is a renowned market maker and leading high-frequency trading firm in Chicago and is seeking multiple Trading Analyst or Associates to join their trading teams.
As a Trading Analyst, you will gain hands-on experience working with our quantitative trading, development, and corporate strategy teams, playing a pivotal role in connecting these vital departments. Your mission? To operate and enhance the entire trade cycle, manage the deployment of innovative trading strategies and technologies, and deliver insightful, data-driven improvements to our market-making activities.
Your impact:
Drive and refine our state-of-the-art automated trading system.
Leverage your technical prowess to streamline manual tasks and boost operational efficiency.
Develop automated data visualizations and reports to uncover key insights.
Tackle projects aimed at boosting trading profitability and mitigating risk.
Oversee and assess automated market-making activities.
Automate and evaluate the effects of corporate events on our portfolios.
Optimize financing, capital allocation, and electronic trading fees and rebates.
Manage stock lending, short-sale costs, and settlement/buy-in risks.
Ensure adherence to market-making and Lead Market Making regulations.
Requirements:
No prior trading experience is required, but 1-4 years of work experience ideally within financial markets (investment banking, FinTech, or Trading Firms) and a keen interest in options trading.
You’re proficient in a programming language, preferably Python.
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
You possess strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
You excel in communication and teamwork.
You are detail-oriented, structured, and accurate in your work.
You have a drive for continuous improvement and optimization.
You thrive under pressure and can juggle multiple tasks effectively.
