Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Tester. The UAT Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and providing feedback to the development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products to end-users.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
Conduct user acceptance testing to validate software functionality and usability.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to prioritize and resolve issues.
Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Provide feedback on software quality and usability improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in software testing, preferably in user acceptance testing.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or HP ALM.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
Experience working with hospitality technology solution or hotel operation systems is highly desirable.
Previous Hotel/Customer Service experience a plus
