Zynga is on the search for our new Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for supporting the Publishing and Corporate functions, developing and executing against the human capital strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the broader organization.
Reporting to the SVP, Global Head of Human Resources of Zynga & 2K this role provides strategic leadership by articulating HR and people needs and plans to the people leadership team, management teams and serves as a strategic partner with senior leadership to help Zynga achieve our objectives. A successful candidate should have a proven track record of leading a global HR organization and driving innovative successes and best practices when partnering with the business.
Main Responsibilities
Be a key driver of the development of a strong, well-aligned culture, ensuring a continued inclusive people experience and high level of engagement throughout the employee lifecycle
Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues
Provide overall leadership, guidance and help to identify growth opportunities to your global team across North America, EMEA and APAC regions
Appropriately balance employee advocacy and management support in the practice of employee relations to create an accountable, inclusive, high-performance culture
Support and advise business operations in workforce planning by forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances by measuring and analyzing results and external market data
Supply both Zynga and Take-Two senior leadership with relevant data to influence strategic people operations and business decisions
Lead organizational development, change management, M&A and continuous improvement initiatives at a global scale
Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of increasing levels of responsibility within the people operations (HR) function, ideally within the gaming industry
Hands-on consultative leader and influencer with a strong background dealing with senior and executive level leadership and complex Human Resources issues in a geographically diverse and fast-changing environment
Proven track record of team leadership, organizational development and change management English language proficiency, other languages are an advantage
Up to 10% travel required
