General Summary

Reporting to the Head of IB Information Services, the VP, Information Services will be responsible for the management of market data and subscription inventory and related reporting for global Investment Banking. The VP will assist in managing Investment Banking’s portfolio of third-party information services and will be involved in all aspects of the subscription lifecycle.

Essential Functions

  • ID administration for global Investment Banking adhering to Jefferies’ policies.
  • Creation of detailed reports to generate insights and analyze subscription and market data information.
  • Understand key stakeholder questions across the business to design and create reports and dashboards that transform data into meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Proactive review of user lists and usage reports to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and unnecessary spend is avoided.
  • Coordinate with the firm’s Market Data Services group to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data in Jefferies’ market data management system (Calero).
  • Work with Jefferies’ IT department to implement single sign-on (SSO) for subscription services.
  • Collaborate with bankers, the Information Services team, Market Data Services, IT, Procurement, and Legal on all aspects of the subscription lifecycle: Help determine requirements, evaluate vendors and services, conduct trials, negotiate terms, obtain internal approvals for new subscriptions and renewals, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Resolution of billing and end user inquiries relating to information services.
  • Coordination of end user training on subscription services.


Experience/Skills required

  • 5+ years of market data management experience in the financial services industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
  • The ability to multi-task and follow through on numerous projects.
  • Knowledge of MS 365 including strong Excel skills, Outlook, and Teams.
  • The ability to manipulate and interpret large quantities of data.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Calero/MDSL a plus.


Salary Range of $65,000-$105,000


The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
