Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Business Development to join our management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for, within assigned market segments, driving the company’s growth strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business development, sales, and market expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the business development strategy to drive customer orders, increase revenue, and expand market presence.
  • Identify and evaluate new markets, partners, channels, and customers.
  • Build and maintain a wide network of industry contacts to stay informed about market trends and opportunities.
  • Develop custom product solutions around unique customer requirements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to develop new product ideas, pricing strategies, and business models.
  • Lead financial feasibility studies, proposal development, and negotiations for new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans.
  • Set company sales targets and marketing goals, and ensure they are met.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of business development professionals.


Qualifications:

  • Kopin is a defense contractor and is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card holder) to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Experience in the technology or wearable tech industry is a plus~!
