Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Director/VP of Business Operations and Strategy to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be a rising star who has quickly advanced in their career, demonstrating exceptional operational and financial expertise. This individual will be pivotal in managing and optimizing acquired businesses, with the potential to ascend to a Group CEO/President role within 12-24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations of acquired businesses to ensure efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
P&L Management: Manage and drive the financial performance of business units, ensuring robust P&L oversight.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth.
Team Management: Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize financial data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other senior leaders and departments to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.
Business Integration: Seamlessly integrate acquired businesses, identifying and solving operational challenges.
Growth and Expansion: Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, managing multiple properties and software assets over time.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven track record of rapid career progression in operations management, ideally as a Director or VP.
P&L Management: Significant experience managing P&L responsibilities, preferably within a software environment, though other industries are also considered.
Financial Acumen: Strong financial and analytical skills, with a background in sciences, engineering, business, or an MBA from a top-tier institution.
Consulting Background: Experience with top-tier management consulting firms is highly desirable, demonstrating a strong work ethic and problem-solving ability.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $350,000 (All-In), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Potential for equity participation within 12-24 months, contingent on performance.
