What is the Role?
The Vice President of Human Resources is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing human resources strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives. This position will lead a team to foster a positive and inclusive work culture, manage talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
What are your responsibilities?
Develop and Implement HR strategies that support the organizations mission, values, and business objectives
Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with over business goals.
Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop effective recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent
Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to facilitate new employee integration
Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues, ensuring a fair and consistent application of policies
Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns promptly
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive a high-performance culture
Provide guidance on improvement plans and professional development opportunities.
Support career development initiatives and succession planning
Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and international employment laws and regulations.
Oversee HR policies to mitigate legal risk
Manage, design, and implement administration of employee benefit programs.
Work closely with external vendors to optimize benefit offerings
Utilize HR metrics and data to make informed decisions and measure effective HR programs.
Provide regular HR reports to executive leadership
Manage and develop the HR budget, ensuring cost effective delivery of HR services
Uphold high ethical standards in HR practices
Ensure fair and just treatment of all Noregon employees
What is Required?
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business administration or a related field. Masters degree and relevant certifications preferred (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, etc) but not required.
Proven experience as an HR leader with a track record of successful strategy development and execution
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HR initiatives into business results.
This position plays a critical role in shaping the organizations culture, supporting its growth, and ensuring a positive employee experience.
