JOB SUMMARY:
Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), the 4th largest and largest private Outdoor Advertising firm in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Vice President of National Sales to manage all sales-related activity of the National Sales Team, supporting the entire Adams Outdoor Advertising footprint.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE:
Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), the 4th largest and largest private Outdoor Advertising firm in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Vice President of National Sales to manage all sales-related activity of the National Sales Team, supporting the entire Adams Outdoor Advertising footprint.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE:
- Develops, communicates, and executes sales plans and strategies that will result in the attainment of national sales goals and revenue objectives.
- Develop a national sales infrastructure, including individual budgets, account assignments, and processes and procedures necessary to meet stated objectives
- Serves as an intermediary between the market level sales organization (General Managers and Sales Managers), the National Sales Team, and the corporate staff to ensure clarity of purpose and direction is understood and achieved.
- Directly ensures compliance with all established company policies and procedures.
- Oversees the work and efforts of the national sales team, ensuring that their needs, as well as the needs of the end-users, are addressed and met.
- Ensures resource management has been done correctly by person, by client.
- Is part of creating deals and offers for big and strategic potential clients.
- Develops and maintains good relationships with clients, agencies, and platform partners to open doors for the National Sales Team.
- Presents company in front of big client and agency holding companies.
- Set the goals of the National Sales Team in line with company goals and sets goals for each employee.
- Improves the performance of each National Sales Team member, analyzes their development needs, and organizes development and training activities in order for the team to achieve their goals.
- Manage people processes (recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, dismissal) for the National Sales Team, in line with company culture, policies, and procedures.
- Motivates the team for higher performance and engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or Business or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years sales management and leadership experience required.
- Experience in digital media and/or OOH, good working knowledge of the OOH industry.
- Experience building sales teams.
- Experience with data, targeting, and measurement preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of successful revenue ownership and team development.
- Deep Agency and client contacts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization, presentation, and influencing skills.
- High level of integrity, self-motivated, action-and-results oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to motivate others and to work under pressure.
- Must be willing and able to travel as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- AOA, founded in 1983 by Steve Adams, is the 4th largest, and largest privately-held, Outdoor Advertising operator in the U.S.. AOA operates in the following 12 markets: Ann Arbor/Kalamazoo/Lansing (MI), Beaufort/Charleston/Florence (SC), Charlotte (NC), Eastern Pennsylvania (PA), Madison (WI), Norfolk (VA), Peoria and Champaign (IL).
