Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled eight hours, Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) is seeking a WCHQ Chief Operating Officer to:

  • Develop the organizational strategic plan in alignment with WCHQ mission and vision.
  • Ensure the strategic plan is actively implemented and modified to continually move towards the ideal state.
  • Facilitate alignment of staff responsibilities with the overall strategic plan and WCHQ mission.
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain positive working relationships with external organizations and individuals that advance WCHQ’s mission and strategic plan.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Health Administration, or a health profession.

Preferred – Master’s degree in Healthcare, Hospital Administration, Nursing Administration, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Seven (7) years of experience of progressively responsible management or supervisory level experience.

Preferred – Experience in grant work (writing, financial tracking) healthcare operations and strategic planning.

Certifications:

Minimum – Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with the ability to travel to various locations
