This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled eight hours, Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) is seeking a WCHQ Chief Operating Officer to:
Develop the organizational strategic plan in alignment with WCHQ mission and vision.
Ensure the strategic plan is actively implemented and modified to continually move towards the ideal state.
Facilitate alignment of staff responsibilities with the overall strategic plan and WCHQ mission.
Identify, cultivate, and maintain positive working relationships with external organizations and individuals that advance WCHQ’s mission and strategic plan.

Education:
Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Health Administration, or a health profession.
Preferred – Master’s degree in Healthcare, Hospital Administration, Nursing Administration, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline.
Work Experience:
Minimum – Seven (7) years of experience of progressively responsible management or supervisory level experience.
Preferred – Experience in grant work (writing, financial tracking) healthcare operations and strategic planning.
Certifications:
Minimum – Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with the ability to travel to various locations
