💜Abi and Ryan Bell are fundraising in memory of their son, Jacob. 💜Abi said “Our nightmare began on Thursday 9th May. What was meant to be a normal routine scan very quickly turned into the worst day of our lives. We received the devastating news that at 36 weeks into our pregnancy journey our little boy had passed away. On Saturday 11th May I gave birth to our precious little boy, Jacob. For 4 days after Jacob’s birth we were able to stay and bond with him, we created memories that are simply irreplaceable and this was only possible because our hospital had an Abi cold cot.” 💜Abi continued, “In the days after Jacob’s death we looked into how much a cold cot costs and that led us to discover that some hospitals either only have the one or some sadly have none. The thought of another family experiencing such a devastating loss and not even getting a chance to have what we had is just heart breaking.” 💜The family are donating an Abi Cooling Cot to Gully's Place at Poole Hospital in loving memory of Jacob. 💜Abi said, “We did it. We’ve reached our target of £2,800 in just 4 days! Ryan and I are beyond grateful for everyone’s generosity. This page will remain open with a new target. 💜Tom is holding a golf day tomorrow at Birchwood Golf Club, raising funds for Abigail’s Footsteps in memory of his daughter Sienna. 💜Tom said, “Sienna was born asleep on the 10th February 2023. Hannah went for a routine scan and unfortunately there was no heartbeat. There was no reason they could find for her death. She is our first baby daughter after a 3 year struggle of trying to conceive via IVF.” 💜Tom said “We had access to a cooling cot with Sienna, and it enabled us to make some lasting memories with her. We couldn’t imagine not being able to spend time with our precious baby girl and thanks to the cooling cot we were able to make some cherished memories that will stay with us forever.
