"The Marketing Guy" 400K+ on YouTube Helping You Grow Your Business With Proven & Profitable Marketing Strategies | Build a 10-20K/Month Agency -> agencyaccelerator.io
I'm working on a new training video right now (that's what the cork board image is about) and wanted to share some of what's inside ahead of time. A little "sneak peak", behind the scenes kinda thing. Also, the point I want to share today is important. Really important. And seeing as this video isn't going to be released for a couple weeks I wanted to make sure we talked about it now. So here's what this is about with a little bit of a story about what's going on in my life right now. You see, I've been teaching my kids to fish these past few weeks and one of the cardinal rules in fishing (as obvious as this is going to sound) is to go where the fish are. So... where are the fish? IMPORTANT NOTE: The following is a literal description of fishing, but more importantly, is a metaphorical definition of business and marketing. So again, where are the fish? Well, you could say water. And you'd be right. The ocean works too. So do lakes. And rivers. And if you're just out there to have fun and waste some time than any one of those answers will suffice. But if you want to actually catch fish, you need to get more specific. And this means looking at the tides (for example, where we fish off the pier the best time to catch something is during high tide). Then we need to decide on bait (if you don't know, just use what the other successful fishermen are using). The rod is important, and so is knowing how to cast the line so your bait actually ends up in the water rather than snagging your hook on the rocks - but these skills are pretty straightforward to learn. And as my kids are learning, it's better to be in the right place at the right time with an even half decent looking piece of bait then it is to be fishing with the worlds best equipment but casting your line into the dead sea. In other words, go where the fish are. Or in business terms, go where your customers are. (...which is usually some kind of combination of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Email, and SMS) Talk soon, Adam

Farming without Fatalities | HR & WHS Consultant to Farmers | MAHRI | I am passionate about agriculture, people dynamics & inclusive learning platforms in Ag that support dyslexic thinking
Chemical trailer tips over in the middle of town! Of course it tips over right in the middle of town 🙈... Good opportunity for everyone to have a refresher on electric trailer brakes. We set up 2 utes with trailers in the yard (one heavy with IBC's and one light and empty) and a set of witches hats. Regardless of experience, age or position, everyone had a turn driving each ute and stopping suddenly to get a feel for the braking system. To this day, the team still mentions the variety of training we always provided. Mix your Toolbox talks up with demos and interactive learning activities. Happy to share a suggested Toolbox agenda - just reach out. Farming without fatalities pass it on... save a life!

Here is a snippet of a maintenance training course that each Coy Land Techs employee will complete. On top of this brief video, the trainee will review other videos, marked pictures, checklist, step list, etc. This is for one plant. We are building a training program that covers plant care, lawn care, etiquette, and anything else we can think of. We are well aware the video is not perfect. This was off the top of my head, no plan, no script, no prep, no second take, no anything. Done is better than perfect.
