It's been a year since we launched the company in Sweden and we’ve been busy helping people make the switch to cleaner, greener, more affordable heating solutions in Germany, Italy and the UK. We set out on a mission to take Europe off gas and since then we’ve been growing our team, expanding in markets and this week, on Wednesday, we’re excited to host the official inauguration of our new production site in Wroclaw, Poland. Check out the action from the official opening event of our new Lainate Hub & Academy.  The new clean energy-tech centre will create hundreds of highly skilled jobs in Northern Italy, contributing to our goal of hiring 4,000 clean energy experts across Italy over the next decade. We were honoured to have the Councilor of economic growth of Lombardia Guido Guidesi join us, alongside alberto landonio, Mayor of Lainate and Giacomo Di Foggia, Budget Councilor of Lainate. This milestone marks a significant step in our mission to decarbonise Europe, one home at the time.

Today, we officially opened the doors to our Lainate Hub in Milan, alongside esteemed guests. This is Aira Italy's biggest operational centre and home to our Italian Aira Academy. Aira Italy Executive Chairman, Mats Ulriksson was joined by Guido Guidesi, Councilor for Economic Development of Lombardy, alberto landonio, Mayor of Lainate, Giacomo Di Foggia, Budget Councilor of Lainate, together with the rest of the Aira Lainate Team, guided by Francesco Cinalli, Head of Region North and Elena Cutrupi, Academy Manager. We are committed to hiring 4,000 clean energy-tech roles in Italy over the next decade – many of which will be in Lainate - and are investing 300M euros in Aira Italy to support the business expansion. Opening this Hub and Academy in Lainate is the next step on our mission to take Europe off gas, one home at a time.  #AiraItalia #Lainate #AiraHub #AiraAcademy #CleanEnergyTech #NewRoles 

A massive congratulations to our partners All Seasons Energy for winning not one, but two awards at the Yorkshire Efficiency Awards last week.   Taking home the Renewable Heat Installer and Contractor of the Year 🏆 and the Insulation and Fabric Installer and Contractor 🏆   These awards are deserved signs of recognition for the work of the entire team.

Today, was no ordinary day at Aira HQ! We hosted the inauguration of Aira 1, our first heat pump production site in Wroclaw, Poland. This major achievement comes one year after Aira’s official launch, marking the successful commencement of production for our intelligent Aira Heat Pump system. We are investing €300 million in the factory previously owned by fellow Swedish company Volvo, to produce 500,000 heat pumps a year, bringing 2,000 jobs to the Polish workforce over the next decade and ultimately, moving us closer to achieving our mission to take Europe off gas, one home at a time. Today, Aira Group CEO Martin Lewerth and Chairman Harald Mix welcomed guests including Aira board members, investors, partners, employees, and Piotr Wojtyczka, President of the Management Board, Invest Park - Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, Katarzyna Szymczak-Pomianowska - Director of Sustainable Development Department, Municipality of Wroclaw, Anna Uggla , Chargé d'affaires, Embassy of Sweden in Poland. We’re proud to announce our new training and installation partnership in the UK with Heat Geek. 🎉 Today, at The Installer Show in Birmingham, we announced a new partnership with Heat Geek, a partnership that brings together two companies on a joint mission to decarbonise heating and provide high-quality training to heat pump installers across the country. Heat Geek CEO, Aadil Qureshi and Aira Service Operations Director, Matt Isherwood took to the stage to officially announce the collaboration and discuss their combined efforts in the renewable sector. It’s often overlooked, but switching to a heat pump is the single most effective thing you can do to reduce your carbon footprint without making a lifestyle change. To facilitate this shift, Aira and Heat Geek will bring together industry experts and award-winning training programs to grow the much-needed green skills workforce and accelerate the roll out of heat pumps across the UK, helping more people to save money on their bills and reduce their heating related CO2 emissions by at least 75%.
