The Dallas Morning News course rankings are a team effort. The 80 Dallas Morning News panel members were given a ballot of 300 courses and asked to rate them on a 10-point scale. Panel members are golf professionals, golf course architects, superintendents, people involved in the golf course industry and amateurs. Where are my golfers? I’m excited for this event…you know I specialise in leadership training but did you know there are SO many similarities between golf and being a leader? Playing golf has taught me so much about leadership! 🏌️♂️ Just like in golf, being a great leader means staying focused, being patient, and thinking strategically. Here are a few lessons golf has reinforced: 1. **Preparation is Key**: Just as I practice my swing, leaders must prepare for meetings and projects. 2. **Adaptability**: Weather changes on the course, and business conditions change too. Adapt and keep moving forward. 3. **Patience and Resilience**: Not every shot lands where you want it. Learn from mistakes and stay resilient. With Topgolf expanding to over 90 locations by year's end, and considering my journey starting when we were venue #26 in 2016, it's incredible to witness this rapid evolution. And offer secondary products such as group golf sessions, celebrity golf masterclasses, (like what chefs do), golf screenings in the club house, and offer by products that people from different backgrounds will enjoy, such as quality gastro and bar offerings, and a well stocked retail store.
