We are excited to share that Atlas Copco Group has been recognized by TIME magazine and Statista as one of world’s most sustainable companies in 2024. It highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our efforts to support a low-carbon society. The Group is dedicated to consistently improving its environmental performance and to operating in a way that safeguards the planet for future generations. Our science-based targets are in line with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, and they guide our actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 46% for scope 1 and 2 and by 28% for scope 3 until 2030.  At Atlas Copco Group, we are focusing on increasing the use of renewable energy, circularity, and reducing emissions throughout our value chain. It would be great to see Midsummer thin film solar panels on the rooftops of all Atlas Copco facilities resulting in even lower CO2 footprint by Atlas Copco. Midsummer solar PV offers 90% lower CO2 LCA vs traditional silicon PV, 90% lower weight and outstanding durability enables you can apply Midsummer thin film solar PV on all available roofs including low load bearing roofs which cant take the weight of traditional silicon PV. Additionally you would support swedish high tech company to grow and support growth of renewable energy
